What is a batch? Every transaction you create belongs to a so-called batch. Each batch, like a receipt, has a number and is actually a package of transactions. A closing is an administrative operation by which the terminal closes each batch and notifies the systems to close the batch and open a new one. Thus, in other Global Payments systems, it is possible to see the batch number for each transaction and it is possible to filter transactions by batch.
